Audience Quality Score
A composite metric estimating how real, relevant, and brand-safe a creator's audience is.
Definition
Audience quality score is a vendor-defined metric (HypeAuditor, Modash, CreatorIQ, etc.) that combines bot rate, location authenticity, follower growth patterns, and engagement authenticity into a single score, usually 0–100.
No single AQS is gospel — different vendors weight differently — but a sub-60 score is a red flag across most platforms. Pair AQS with manual review of comment quality before signing any meaningful deal.
Example
A 250K-follower creator scores 42 on audience quality due to a sudden 90-day follower spike from low-population regions — the program drops them from the shortlist.
