Rate Card

A creator's published or negotiated pricing for different content formats, usage windows, and exclusivity terms.

Definition

Rate cards typically break down by deliverable — Reel, Story set, TikTok, YouTube integration, Pinterest pin — with separate fees for usage rights, whitelisting, and exclusivity. Most professional creators have one; most amateur creators don't and negotiate ad hoc.

Industry-rough benchmark: $100 per 10K followers as a starting fee for a single in-feed post, with multipliers for video, usage, and category exclusivity. Real rates vary widely by category and platform.

Example

A 150K-follower creator's rate card lists $2,500 for a Reel, +30% for 6-month usage rights, +50% for category exclusivity for 90 days.
