Meta Partnership Ads

Meta's official format for running paid ads from a creator's Instagram or Facebook handle, with full targeting and optimization.

Definition

Partnership Ads (formerly Branded Content Ads) let a brand promote a creator's organic post — or a dark post — through the creator's account, with the brand's budget and targeting. The brand pays media; the creator's handle is the surface.

Setup requires the creator to authorize the brand inside their Instagram settings, and to enable branded-content controls. Once set up, the brand can run any number of ads from that creator's handle until the access is revoked.

Example

A fitness apparel brand whitelists 8 creators and runs 24 active Partnership Ads through their handles, with the same conversion event and bid strategy as their brand-handle campaigns.
